Cazoo has appointed Brook Bishop as Chief Commercial Officer, strengthening its senior leadership team.
Bishop has extensive senior management experience in the automotive sector, joining from Motorway where he was Head of Commercial Growth and Transformation. Previously he was Chief Growth Officer at heycar, where he built and scaled the automotive marketplace, and Strategy Manager at Volkswagen Financial Services, having started his career at PwC.
In his new role as Cazoo’s CCO, Bishop will work closely with dealer partners to deliver increased value and satisfaction, in addition to driving strategic partnerships.
Commenting on the appointment Barry Judge, CEO of Cazoo, said: “Brook joins Cazoo at a decisive stage in our mission to disrupt the sector by providing car buyers and dealers with a credible alternative to the market leader.
“Having spent a decade in the automotive sector, gaining exceptional senior level marketplace and start-up experience, Brook is ideally placed to work with our dealer partners to drive more value as we accelerate our fast growth ambitions.”
Bishop added: “Cazoo has all the ingredients of a business ready to scale – a strong reputation with dealers, an ambitious team and a new platform that’s challenging the market leader. I’m excited to join at such an important stage in the company’s growth.
“At the same time the car buying journey is evolving. AI is set to play an increasing role in vehicle searches and Cazoo has the agility to support customers and dealers through an omni-channel buying experience with new AI-powered tools and services.
“I’m looking forward to helping drive the next phase of Cazoo’s commercial growth.”
Since rebranding in May, Cazoo has expanded its senior leadership team with appointment of Thomas Orthgiess as Chief Product Officer and promotion of Lucy Tugby to Chief Marketing Officer.
